TitleDe verticale distributie van corrosie en fouling op scheepsrompen en damplanken
Subject

The vertical distribution of fouling, subject to an interplay of different environmental parameters (light, oxygen, nutrients,...) may affect the ongoing corrosion processes of the underlying steel structure and may limit the ways to clean ship hulls and sheet pilings. This dissertation will follow the development of the different fouling communities on typical ship's paint surfaces and discuss innovative ways to clean them and to prevent fouling.
